Frequently Asked Questions
What collectors ask first
What is Terra Arcana?
Terra Arcana is a collector's archive of the world's unanswered mysteries. Each release is a full set — a museum-quality coin, a velvet pouch, a printed collector insert, and a claim code — presented together as one chapter of the archive.
What is Volume I?
Volume I is called Lost Worlds. It's the Founders Edition of the archive: five chapters, 250 pieces per chapter, 1,250 pieces in total. It opens with Atlantis. The remaining chapters stay sealed until they're released.
What is Atlantis?
Atlantis is the first chapter of Volume I. It's the opening release of the collection and it introduces the structure the rest of the archive will follow. The coin is double-sided: an illustrated front depicting the sunken city, and a reverse carrying the trident seal and the chapter's legend.
How much does Atlantis cost?
The Founders Edition pre-sale price is £19.99. The retail price once pre-sale closes is £24.99. Shipping is worldwide.
What's in the set?
Every chapter ships as a complete collector set: the coin, a black velvet drawstring pouch with the Terra Arcana mark, a printed collector insert carrying the chapter's story and specifications, and a sealed claim code that binds your copy to your Archive Passport.
Is Atlantis limited?
Yes. 250 pieces, then Chapter I closes. The same applies to every future chapter in Volume I. Once the Founders Edition is claimed, it's finished.
What does the claim code do?
The claim code is the link between the physical piece and your Archive Passport. Once you register your code against your verified email, the chapter is signed into your collection permanently and appears as a claimed slot in your Volume I ledger.
Is this connected to real archaeology, or is it lore?
Both, honestly — and the archive treats the two as separate. Every chapter is researched carefully. Where something is historically established (Petra, Doggerland), that's what the collector insert says. Where something is still a question (Atlantis), the insert says that, and presents the evidence we have alongside the story. Terra Arcana collects the question; it doesn't pretend to answer it.
Who makes Terra Arcana?
It's a one-founder project. Tom — an electrical-mechanical engineer and scuba diver — is designing, writing, and producing every chapter himself. That's why the cadence is slow and the archive is small. There's a longer note from him on the homepage.
Is checkout live right now?
Not yet. Terra Arcana is in pre-launch. The site presents Volume I and collects archive signups; checkout is expected to open soon via a dedicated store integration. Join the Archive and you'll be written to first.
How do I know when it opens?
The two best channels are the Archive signup on the homepage and @terraarcanacollection on Instagram. Both are intended for release notices and chapter updates — not for general marketing.
Are shipping and returns details available?
Worldwide shipping is confirmed. Exact dispatch timing, carriers, and the returns policy will be published when checkout opens — they're part of the pre-launch work still in progress.
What are Volume II and Volume III?
Volume II is called Hidden Cities — it's in development and chapter titles are not yet announced. Volume III is called Forgotten Places and chapter details are withheld until Volume I is complete.
